My mom has been buying bread from here for the longest and it's still the best in town. Nice fresh bread everyday
Cash only, but the prices are very affordable. I had my first concha from here and understand why its a classic. After pulling a bunch of different things frm the racks for an at-home taste test, the real surprise to me was the carrot cake with white frosting. Its a huge slab of moderately sweet cake, very moist, with super-sweet frosting. I think its my favorite. The woman behind the counter is not big on conversation but she will help as much as she can. And I respect the fact that when I wanted to buy a cup of coffee she was like you dont want that coffee its old. haha. I didnt care for some of the cookies I tried they tasted like lard, but I know a lot of customers like that, so I think it deserves a good rating anyway
Amazing place to stop in for quick pickup of some amazing pan dulce, pink cookies and bollios at least that was what I walked out with. But that pink cookie took me back to my childhood days. Bring cash, they only take cash.
I hope this bakery never closes I used to come here all the time with my mom as a kid. I'm glad to see that their still open and in business! Will definitely be popping up soon one of these days to try their bread again. Hopefully it taste the same as I remember. Can't wait!

This place rocks! She did exactly what I asked her to do and the results were just perfect, totally recommend her, she was awesome, she tells you straight up what she can and can't do according to her schedule, she's really nice and accommodating, the cake not only looked amazing but it tasted super yummy!! This is no doubt now my go-to-place for cakes! And I almost forgot it was pretty affordable!
Veronica at serranos is the person you need to see. She did a fabulous job with my son's birthday cakes. Exactly what I wanted and showed her she provided, and not to mention the cakes were to die for. Chocolate cake with fresh bananas on whip cream. Vanilla Cale with fresh strawberries on whip cream. She showed extremely professionalism, and was always available for my questions and concerns. I highly recommend her for your next cake adventure. Delicious!
This place is so good. Conchas, orejas, all the standards you'd expect, made fresh and in stock. Definitely will be a place I stop at more. Like another review said, once you get over the fact that you've found heaven in Richmond, you'll be back. Cash only.
